Sculptra
Starting in our 20s we product 1% less collagen in our skin each year. This leads to lost volume in the face, hollow cheeks, deep creases and wrinkles (think laugh lines), and hollow areas under our eyes.
This is an FDA-approved injectable that was designed to help stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production to help regain a firmer, more youthful appearance. Sculptra is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid. When injected carefully, it is gradually absorbed by the body to help rebuild collagen. A series of injections over the course of about 3 months is required. Clinical trials revealed some side effects including redness, swelling, tenderness, bleeding, bruising, itching, or “nodules”.
We cannot treat you based on your previous history with other providers or dosing that other people have received due to anatomical differences and needs. We practice safely and ethically following medical protocols and FDA-approved dosing.
